Las pequeñas PC ya son una realidad y muchos fabricantes se encuentran diseñando sus propios productos como el caso de MSI que anuncia su plataforma compacta MS-9A69 totalmente silenciosa ya que carece de ventiladores. MSI lanzaría dos tipos de opciones, una con la arquitectura de Intel «Broadwell» y otra con «BayTrail».
Básicamente esta solución propone muy bajo consumo de energía, soporte de memorias DDR3L 1333/1600 MHz SO-DIMM hasta una capacidad de 8 GB, 2 o 3 salidas independientes de video, Dual GbE LAN, dual Mini-PCIe para expansión y soporta DC-in 12V/19V/24V.
