Luego de 2 semanas del lanzamiento de los controladores Catalyst 13.11 Beta V9.5, AMD libero sus esperados controladores Catalyst 13.12 WHQL.
Catalyst 13.12 WHQL son los primeros controladores certificados para los GPUs Radeon R9 290X “Hawaii XT” y Radeon R9 290 “Hawaii Pro” (también son compatibles con los GPUs Radeon HD 5000 Series “Evergreen” y superiores). Ademas traen consigo mejoras de rendimiento, mejoras de Frame pacing y corrección de errores.

- Frame pacing is supported on DirectX® 10 and DirectX 11 applications using resolutions up to (and including) 2560×1600 on a single display

- PCI-E bus speed is no longer set to x1 on the secondary GPU when running in an AMD CrossFire configuration
- Resolves incorrect HDMI Audio Driver information being listed in the AMD Catalyst Control Center
